We are happy to recommend Primo Earth Pigments as the colorants for all of our lime plasters and lime paint and lime putty products. Earth Pigments include Natural Dark Brown Earth Pigment, Natural Green Earth Pigment, Natural Red Earth Pigment, Natural Burnt Brown Earth Pigment, Natural Light Brown Earth Pigment and Natural Yellow Earth Pigment.

Earth pigments have traditionally been used in Europe for centuries. These iron oxide pigments produce a beautiful and rich array of earth-tone colors ranging from burnt umber pigments to vibrant yellow pigments and deep red pigments allowing you to bring the charm and warmth of the Olde World to your lime plaster projects. Unlike universal tints, Primo Natural Earth Pigments are completely stable in lime and produce permanent colors. In fact, three of these pigments are produced using reclaimed coal mine sludge and can contribute to LEED accreditation for your project as defined by the U.S. Green Building Council. All of Primo Green Earth Pigments are mined in the United States.

Soak Primo Earth Pigments in equal amounts of water and stir until completely dispersed. Add to Primo Lime Paint or Primo Lime Plasters and mix thoroughly with drill and paddle before use.
